Ingesting colloidal silver is legal in the United States!

From January 1st 2010 the EU stopped considering colloidal silver to be a food supplement. Ingestion is prohibited and this despite numerous studies showing it to be safe and effective against more than 650 pathogens and the almost complete absence of side effects.

The following information is based on best practice by Americans, who use colloidal silver internally. The FDA simply downgraded it from drug status (1938) to food supplement status in 1999.

Institut Katharos is providing this for information purposes only, and at no point recommends ingesting colloidal silver considering that it is now banned.

Sublingual administration abroad

Taken orally, colloidal silver very quickly finds its way into the bloodstream, and is then transported to the vital parts of the body. The author Max Crarer suggests that leaving the solution under the tongue for around 60 seconds before swallowing  can result in faster absorption*1.

According to Dr. Altman it is important to drink several glasses of water each day, while taking colloidal silver, to purge the body of toxins. Colloidal silver is eliminated very quickly by the kidneys, intestines and lymphatic system. In two days more than 90% of the silver ions are expelled*2.

Max Crarer recommends not attempting to cleanse the body too quickly, if the individual feels very sick. If the pathogens are destroyed too quickly, the body's five emunctories (liver, kidneys, lungs, intestines and skin) can temporarily become overloaded. This is the result of a phenomenon called a “healing crisis”*3 and includes symptoms such as headaches, dizziness, nausea, extreme tiredness, muscle pain and other flu-like symptoms.

In this case, Max Crarer recommends reducing colloidal silver consumption and increasing water intake.
